Mark enjoys people. He is passionate about healthy interaction, vibrant relationships, and living life to the full. Mark learned to build rapport by working with teens through Young Life for 12 years. Through his counselling education and practice, he has helped people appraise relationships, consider life experiences, and evaluate the meaning they derive from situations.

Mark has an Education degree from the University of Alberta and has been teaching middle school woodworking for the past fourteen years. He received his Master of Arts in Christian Studies from Regent College in Vancouver and is an Arrow Leadership graduate. He also holds a Masters in Counselling from CityU of Seattle.

Mark and his wife Tara have been married since 2003 and have four children aged 10 to 18. There was a time when Mark was a pro snowboarder with dreadlocks and a Burton sponsorship, but these days Mark opts for more knee-friendly activities such as hiking, biking and physiotherapy. Ha!
